400 million members, how do you stand out on Facebook?
One thing I say over and over is in order to stand out in the social media game is you MUST have some personality behind your business. Bland, repetitive or spammy posts go overlooked for posts that have some wit or substance other than just a direct promotion.
Lets take our client Il Palazzone for example who has created an entire personality based fan base from scratch by posting things that are educational or sometimes a bit personal, but all revolving around the goings-on at a Brunello Vineyard in Montalcino, Italy.
You want to give your customers / fans insight and information without being annoying or too over the top.
Rooting into social media will not happen until you understand and implement these facts:
- it doesn’t happen over night!
- it takes small bits of care constantly. photos, quick videos, text messages, relevant links
