Most businesses and entertainers have given very little consideration to their mobile web presence and/or really don’t have any idea why this is becoming an essential piece of the pie. “I have a web site what do I need this for?”

The quick answer is to accommodate your customers, clients, fans and readers. It’s so nice when you visit a site on an iPhone or Android and not have to pinch, zoom and scan for the info you need. Nicks most requested page is his schedule, so that is the 1st thing people get when visiting his site on a smartphone. His mobile landing page is his 2nd most viewed page on his entire site!
For a small local shop I would put prominence on phone numbers, directions and hours and/or have a newsfeed or blog be present.
