“How the heck do you guys work together?” is the question most people ask us, and we answer, “I have no idea!”. Nearly 10 years ago, we opened a small creative shop designing websites and it’s been a crazy ride. Our business model evolved with the Internet while we grew our network, gained experience and learned important lessons along the way. And believe it or not, we didn’t kill each other! So much has happened in our world in 10 years. Now it is no longer even cool to say you design a website, it’s actually a web presence and if you don’t know what social media is, you better get on that! Twitter this and Foursquare that and QR codes – who could have seen this coming? One of the greatest things about the business we’re in is that it changes constantly. In addition, we get to learn about so many types of businesses in the process of creating their web presence.

When we started out we worked with the Affiliate Sales & Marketing team at ESPN and small local businesses. Our list of corporate clients and small businesses grew to include names such as Simon & Schuster, comedian Nick DiPaolo, Spinnaker Property Management and Bikram Yoga Shelton. Today Bakermedia has a great team that understands the current web needs of businesses and offers trusted advice and personal service.
